Josh Miller

Josh Miller is Managing Principal for OnTarget Incentives, LLC, a sales compensation consulting firm.  OTI offers services in sales compensation strategy, design, administration and implementation.  Josh is also Executive Director of Sales Compensation at Aetna.  Josh has been leading the way as both a consultant and executive practitioner in sales compensation for almost 20 years by designing, implementing and managing compensation for such companies as J.D. Power, Insight, JDA Software, Time Warner Cable, and more.  Josh is a frequent writer for Workspan Magazine, holds Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees from Arizona State University and is a Certified Sales Compensation Professional through WorldatWork.

Robert Greene, PhD

Robert J. Greene is the CEO of Reward Systems, Inc. and a faculty member for DePaul U. in their MSHR and MBA degree programs.  He has over 40 years of experience, has authored three books (Rewarding Performance, Rewarding Performance Globally and The Most Important Asset, all published by Routledge/Taylor-Francis) and over 100 articles and was the first recipient of the Keystone Award for attaining the highest level of excellence in the field.  Bob was a principal designer of the CCP and GRP certifications for ACA (now WorldatfWork) and the SPHR and PHR certifications for SHRM (now HRCI).  He has spoken at over 20 national SHRM conferences, over 40 state HR conferences and over 25 ACA/WAW conferences, focusing on rewards strategy and careers in rewards management.

Carol Mercer

Ms. Mercer is a Vice President in Sibson’s Phoenix Office with over 20 years of experience in compensation, rewards, and talent management to client work conducted at Sibson. She consults to clients with a focus on enhancing the effectiveness of their human resources programs and initiatives. Ms. Mercer is particularly experienced in assessing HR strategy, developing compensation strategies and structures, internal pay equity, developing job architectures and career profiles, assessing and designing effective staffing models, building effective performance management programs, conducting organizational effectiveness studies and developing change management strategies. Prior to joining Sibson, Ms. Mercer worked as a senior consultant for Fox Lawson & Associates, LLC and prior to that, she served as the Assistant Director of Operations and Finance for the College of Extended Education at Arizona State University.  Ms. Mercer received a BS summa cum laude and an MPA magna cum laude from Arizona State University. Ms. Mercer has been a member of WorldatWork since 1996 and has her CCP.

Moshe Mayefsky

Mr. Mayefsky is a Senior Consultant at Sibson with over 12 years of experience in human resources and benefits plan consulting. He works with clients in a wide range of industries, including professional service firms, sports leagues, manufacturing, and higher education. Mr. Mayefsky offers specialized expertise in the use of technology to create, design, and deploy human capital solutions. Prior to joining Sibson’s Human Capital practice, Mr. Mayefsky was an Actuarial Associate in the firm’s Retirement Consulting practice, where he gained experience preparing valuations for corporate pension plans as well as for post-retirement health and welfare benefits plans. He has also worked on a number of special projects involving asset liability models and curtailments.  Mr. Mayefsky received a BA in Mathematics from Yeshiva University.

Linda McNally

Linda joined Echelon as a Partner in 2017 with thirty years of human resources/finance executive and board consultant experience. Linda has advised clients and managed internal corporate teams on a broad spectrum of HR/financial topics including: roles as the top HR Executive and top Total Rewards Executive, as well as board advisor on governance, shareholder outreach, pay strategy and pay for performance, financial strategy, value creation, incentive plan design, sales compensation, succession planning and benefits plan design with an emphasis on companies that are engaging in complex transactions such as pre-IPO, mergers, joint ventures, spin-offs and closures. Linda’s experience has spanned publicly-traded, private and non-profit companies in a number of industries, both domestically and internationally. Linda’s industry experience includes technology, financial services, energy, oil & gas, construction, consumer products, bio-pharma, telecommunications, international organizations, and associations.

Prior to joining Echelon, Linda has held top positions the Head of HR, VP Total Rewards and most recently as VP Compensation and Benefits at LifeLock Corporation.  Throughout her consulting career, Linda has worked as a Principal with Hugessen Consulting, a Canadian executive compensation firm, as well as other consulting firms such as Willis Towers Watson and PriceWaterhouseCoopers. 

Linda is a frequent speaker on total rewards issues in challenging circumstances for the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), WorldatWork, and the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD, Canada).  Linda is a Governance Fellow of the NACD, has completed her Director certification from the ICD, and is a CPA.  Linda holds an MS in Taxation with Distinction from Bentley University in Massachusetts and a BS in Accounting with Honors from The University of Maryland.

Kathi Myers

Kathi has nearly 20 years of experience in assisting organizations with pay-related infrastructure issues.  Kathi’s clients have included organizations in information technology, retail, health care, not-for-profit, and higher education. Her varied client list speaks to her ability to effectively listen, understand, and develop recommendations based on the needs of the organization rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. Kathi’s experience and expertise includes: Developing total compensation philosophies and strategies; compensation studies including market pricing analysis, gap analysis, and salary structure design; developing job structures and career frameworks; and regulatory compliance.  Prior to joining Mercer in April 2016, Kathi was a Senior Consultant with Buck Consultants. In addition to her consulting work, Kathi has also held leadership roles within corporate compensation departments including, Nordstrom and Outerwall.  Kathi holds a Master’s degree in Labor and Human Resources from the Ohio State University and is a Certified Executive Compensation Professional.

Michael J. Malone, CPC, AIFA

Mr. Malone is the founder and managing director of MJM401k, an independent consultancy serving retirement plan sponsors and committees. Prior to forming MJM401k, Mr. Malone served as a director and retirement plan consultant with both a regional and a national consulting and advisory firm. Mr. Malone is a Certified Pension Consultant (CPC) with the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries and an Accredited Investment Fiduciary Analyst™ (AIFA). Mr. Malone was the 2011 recipient of the 401(k) Advisor Leadership Award, a national award sponsored by Morningstar, Inc. and the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries (ASPPA). Mr. Malone is a member Western Pension & Benefits Conference and various other employee benefits professional groups.  For over thirty years, Mr. Malone has been a frequent author and lecturer throughout the U.S. at industry conferences on the various plan design and plan investment aspects of pension and retirement plan arrangements and has provided expert testimony to the ERISA Advisory Council at the Department of Labor.

Gary Kushner

Gray Kusher, SPHR, CBP is the President and CEO of Kushner and Company, an HR strategy and employee benefits consulting and administration firm.  Internationally recognized as an expert in the field Mr. Kushner is a one of the nation’s most sought after speakers on HR strategy and employee benefits.  He has advised four U.S. Presidents on healthcare and has testified before the U.S. Senate Finance Committee, the U.S. House Ways and Means Committee, and U.S. House Small Business Committee on employee benefits issues. A frequent resource to the media Mr. Kushner contributes to the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, AP, Knight-Ridder, the Kipplinger Washington Newsletter, CNN News, Fortune, MSNBC, and Good Morning America among others. He also serves on the Editorial Review Board of HR Management magazine. Prior to establishing Kushner and Company in 1982 he held human resources policymaking positions in both the private and public sectors including compensation and benefits. He earned is MPA in Personnel for Western Michigan University and his BA from Franklin and Marshal Collee. Highly recognized for his expertise and effectiveness, he ahs served on a number of corporate, not-for-profit, and professional association boards and is past Chair of the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI).

Candice Porten

Candice Porten, MPH, is an Assistant Vice President with Health Advocate. She has more than 20 years of experience in population health and well-being, consulting with organizations of all sizes to educate employees on the value of good health while increasing engagement and reducing healthcare costs. Candice is a member of the American Public Health Association, where she serves on the Building Healthy Communities committee, and also serves as Senior Vice President of the Holistic Chamber of Commerce of Flagstaff (Ariz.), focused on creating healthier businesses. She is a published author dedicated to helping readers find, live and celebrate healthy aging. Candice received her B.A. from Columbia College Chicago and a Master’s in Public Health from Kaplan University. Additionally, she is a certified fitness instructor through the International Sports Science Association.

Mike Zucarelli

Michael Zucarelli is a practicing pharmacist and leads CBIZ’s National Pharmacy Practice, a specialty practice within CBIZ’s Benefits and Insurance Group.  He serves as the lead pharmacy consultant for clients, providing financial and clinical guidance to optimize a group’s pharmacy program and overall benefit strategy that is cost-effective, compliant and sustainable.  Michael’s approach focuses on client satisfaction with the pharmacy benefit value and PBM relationship.  He assists clients with financial models, pharmacy program analysis, and clinical evaluation.  Upon completion of this analysis, he presents these results concisely and offers strategic recommendations.   Prior to joining CBIZ, Michael was a pharmacist member of Mercer’s Managed Pharmacy Practice serving large and jumbo self-insured clients. Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Arizona, is licensed pharmacist in Arizona, Missouri and North Carolina, and a Member of the Academy of Managed Care.

David Kennedy

David Kennedy is the CEO of HRsoft, an industry leader in compensation planning and total rewards software.  David has more than twenty years of experience leading HR service and technology vendors and has worked in Compensation Management and Total Rewards software space for nearly a decade.  As CEO, David is responsible for HRsoft overall direction, customers and innovations.
