"Taking Back Total Rewards"

In today’s marketplace for Talent, the challenge of retaining our talent is more complex than it has ever been.  The employment agreement of the past is now out the window and the age-old adage of people quit their leaders and not organizations is only partially true – people tend to stay where they feel they belong, can be their best selves and have a great leader to work for.  In our session, we will explore the following:

  • Trends – The future of value propositions
  • Transformation – Total Rewards as a business function
  • Connection – Attaching the workforce through a sense of Belonging
  • Revolution – Unique Total Reward offerings and trends

Bryan is passionate about helping people, leading teams and growing businesses.  With over 20 years’ experience, most of which is in HR, Bryan believes that it is the job of HR professionals to be business minded first.  But, they should also be functional experts that deliver positive impacts to the business and culture while making things easy to execute.  Bryan has spent time in retail, wholesale, aviation and high-tech environments.  He loves what he does at work – yes that includes playing with pets in the office daily!  Bryan is the proud father for four kiddo’s and thankful that his wife who keeps them all in line.

On the boring side of bio requirements, Bryan holds a B.A. of Psychology from Texas A&M and an M.B.A. from the University of Texas at Dallas. Most recently Bryan leads the Total Rewards, Talent Management and the Belonging & Development teams. Bryan has held a variety of leader roles for nearly every role in Human Resources and in several companies.
