Sheila Krueger, CCP
President
Sheila snuck into HR through the technology door. Having perfected the RFP process for HRIS selection and installation, she just stayed in the HR department after the installation. Over the next 20 years, she achieved a broad level of experience in HR, focusing on the Total Rewards areas, including compensation, benefit, wellness, communication, and retirement accounts. The technical aspect of HR continues to be important in her work, and Technology Management was the emphasis of her recently-completed MBA. Communicating the HR narrative has become her superpower. Sheila previously served as the VP for ATRA, helped transition the ATRA website from paperclips and duct tape to its new platform, and is also a World at Work member. After a brief stint in San Francisco tech, she has now returned to the Valley of the Sun and has found her way to working remotely for Zoom Video Communications.

Priya Kapila
Vice President
Priya is the Compensation Practice Leader at FMI Corporation, where she is responsible for leading the compensation consulting practice. She has considerable experience providing services that are largely focused on the areas of executive compensation, organization-wide salary structure development, and short-term and long-term incentive plan design. Prior to joining FMI this summer, Priya was the Senior Manager of Compensation Consulting for CBIZ, a national business services firm.  Priya is a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) and a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).  She is a member of WorldatWork and is the Past President of the Compensation and Benefits Network of Greater St. Louis.

Dr. Robert H. Meehan, CBP, CCP
Past President
Bob’s experience includes leadership and consulting positions in compensation and benefits, and spans several industries, including high technology, financial services, consumer products, and electric utilities. Bob’s focus has been on assisting businesses to develop and implement compensation and benefits solutions that improve the value of the business and the employment value proposition. He has taught leadership, HR and compensation and benefits courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels. Bob earned his Doctorate from Pace University’s Lubin School of Business. Bob is a founding member of ATRA and has served as a Vice President, Board Member and Chair of the Speakers’ Committee. He holds the CBP and CCP designations. He is a current WorldatWork member, a former board member and was a WorldatWork faculty member for 20 years. Bob has served on SHRM’s Compensation and Benefits Committee, as well.

Judith L. Clinton, CCP, SPHR 
Secretary/Treasurer
Judy has over 20 years of experience in Human Resources and Compensation, which has enabled her to successfully design and implement HR and compensation processes aligned with company missions and values in for-profit, not-for-profit, start-up, retail and manufacturing organizations. She is currently the Manager of Compensation for Phoenix Children’s Hospital, which encompasses a population of 3,500 employees. Judy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the University of Cincinnati and has completed post-graduate work in Human Resources and Business Management. She holds the CCP and Lifetime SPHR designations. Judy is a founding member of ATRA and has served as the Secretary since its inception. She is a current member of WorldatWork and SHRM.

Korin Giordano
Director
Korin has over 20 years of experience in all facets of Human Resources and is a seasoned Compensation professional. Her background includes both generalist and compensation roles in several industries, including healthcare, financial services, telecommunications and retail. Korin is part of PetSmart’s Compensation team where she consults with several groups helping them develop programs that drive key business metrics. Her passion is partnering with operational leaders, to match business needs with targeted reward programs. Korin earned her Master’s Degree in Education from Rutgers University.

Adriana Bettencourt
Director - Programs
Adriana began her career after graduating from college as a Corporate Accountant. Her accounting background helped her land her current position as a Compensation Analyst at Maricopa Integrated Health System (MIHS). During her tenure at MIHS, Adriana has helped implement a new HRIS system, Performance Management System and Compensation Data Management tool, Pay Factors.  Adriana joined Arizona Total Rewards Association and became a Program Committee member a year after joining. She recently took on the role of Program Chair and is looking forward to continuing to meet new people, learn new things and continue bringing enticing total rewards topics and presentations to the association.

Sara Reinstein
Director - Marketing and Communications
Sara Reinstein is the compensation manager at Sigma Foods. She has more than 20 years of experience in all aspects of human resources working in and managing compensation, employee relations, recruiting, policy development, mergers and acquisitions, employment law, training and development, performance management, organization development, benefits strategies and more. Sara has worked at national and international companies such as Discount Tire, Gannett and Avnet, and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Communications from Arizona State University. She is a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) and is also a Certified DISC and Motivators Assessments Practitioner and a Change Management Practitioner. Sara holds professional memberships at WorldatWork, SHRM and has been a member of ATRA for five years, where she has served on the Marketing Committee and joined the board in 2020. Sara volunteers with youth and enjoys mentoring them.

Andrea Rios
Director - Membership
Andrea is an Employer Benefits Consultant at Lovitt & Touché, where she consults with HR and Finance Executives on strategy, compliance and cost containment on employee healthcare and benefits. Andrea’s experience over the last 15 years has focused on assisting businesses in the development and implementation of recruitment and HCM technology solutions, in addition to benefit strategies. Her passion is helping businesses gain a competitive advantage and improve employer branding for recruitment and retention. Andrea earned a Bachelors's degree in Business Marketing from Arizona State University, WP Carey School of Business. She is also a current Board Member with Local’s First Arizona.
